Pound Ridge Fire District Proposes Update to Firehouse

October 4, 2022

In September, the Board of Fire Commissioners shared plans for an expansion and update of the Pound Ridge firehouse with the Pound Ridge Town Board and the Pound Ridge Planning Board, and began public outreach to make Pound Ridge residents aware of the need for and details of the proposed project.

In the past few days, a mailing from the Pound Ridge Fire District introducing the firehouse expansion and update proposal was sent to all Pound Ridge mailing addresses, and this website has been created specifically to create easy access to the proposed project plans and developments.

To stay informed, Pound Ridge Residents can:

Visit this website any time. Information will be added as available.

Email questions and/or request to be added to our email update list: project@poundridgefire.com.

"Like" Pound Ridge Fire Department on Facebook.

Public Information Sessions will be held at the firehouse on October 8 at 10AM, November 15 at 10AM, and December 6 at 7PM. Open House notices will be posted at the Town House, the Firehouse, and on the bulletin board at Scott's Corners Market.

Check the Record Review, which has run two articles already and has assigned a reporter to cover the project going forward.

The Pound Ridge Fire District is committed to answering any questions residents may have. We will add your questions, and the answers, to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document we will post as a resource for all.
